Sai Kung Sung Tsun Catholic School committed to ensuring the health and safety of its students, particularly in regards to drinking water. With the outbreak of coronavirus, traditional water dispensers with exposed spouts have become a potential source of virus transmission. Therefore, the school has upgraded to the Well井 water station to provide high-quality and safe drinking water for students. The school also places a great emphasis on environmental education, encouraging students to bring their own bottle to promote a plastic-free campus.
Safe Drinking Water for All
Well井 equipped with a hidden nozzle to avoid contact and contamination, keeping the nozzle clean and hygienic. Well井 has obtained NSF Certified under NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53, effectively removing lead and reducing chlorine taste, odor, other offensive contaminants, and dirt and particles as small as 0.5 micron in size, ensuring drinking water safety. It also features an automatic self-rinsing to prevent the growth of bacteria and keep parts clean, further enhancing the confidence in water quality.
Let's Go Plastic-Free!
To encourage teachers and students to bring their own bottle, the school has placed Well井 on different floors of the campus. Whenever teachers and students use Well井, the LCD screen displays the amount of water used and the number of plastic bottles saved in real-time, allowing users to better understand their environmental impact. By integrating water usage data, it can be calculated into carbon footprint, which can contribute to the school's energy-saving achievements.
